Former Celtic forward Timo Weah is on the brink of signing with Italian Serie A titan, Juventus.

The American international made the move to Celtic while Brendan Rodgers was still manager in January 2019, signing a 6-month loan deal.
He didn’t see out his loan contract, though, with Neil Lennon ordering the player to pack up his things and leave Celtic after he opted to play for the USA in the under-21 World Cup rather than play a part in Celtic’s treble-treble cup final against Hearts.
He’s since pushed on in his career after what was an underwhelming spell at Celtic. His impressive performance for French side Lille has since drawn the attention of Juventus, one of Italy’s most decorated clubs.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that a deal worth more than £10 million is on the table for Weah’s move to Turin.

Weah, son of former Ballon d’Or winner and current Liberian president George Weah, has been a standout performer in Ligue 1, helping Lille secure the league title in the 2020-2021 season. His pace, work rate, and eye for goal have made him a coveted asset for the Italian side.
