Former Celtic midfielder and sky sports pundit Kris Commons has had a laugh at his on air colleague Kris Boyd for his comments on Leigh Griffiths back in January.
Boyd was visibly annoyed when Leigh shushed him after scoring for Celtic at Rugby Park when the league resumed after the winter break.
The pundit claimed Leigh was four weeks away from his Celtic career potentially being over. We’re in March now and we’ve just watched Leigh stick in a hat-trick against St Mirren to take his 2020 tally to 8 so far.
Commons took to social media and wrote under Leigh’s celebration post and had a laugh at Kris for his line back in January.
Commons has taken a lot of flak from the Celtic support since taking a job with Sky Sports. Sometimes rightfully so for his overly negative take on Celtic issues.
In this instance, the Celtic support will be glad to see Kris call his broadcast partner out.
We all know Kris Boyd’s agenda.
