Former Celt Subject to £6million Bid

Former Celtic Youth and First Team Goalkeeper David Marshall looks to be heading for the Cardiff City exit after 6 years at the club.

The 30-year-old who once put on a goalkeeping clinic against Barcelona in the Camp Nou has had a £6million bid accepted by his current employers from West Brom.

Marshall-v-Barca-300x229The Scottish International has carved out a great career for himself down south since leaving Celtic for Norwich back in 2007. At the time he was kept out the Celtic team by one of our greatest goalkeepers of the modern era Artur Boruc. Since then he has been capped 19 times for Scotland and played in England’s top flight.

The player is now expected to agree terms with West Brom and could be ready to start for the baggies as early as this weekend.
