Former Celt Signs Multimillion-Pound Deal

Former Celtic enigma Georgios Samaras has signed a multimillion-pound deal that will see him ply his trade for Al-Hilal in Suadi Arabia.

The former striker turned winger left Celtic in the summer after he was not offered a new deal by the Celtic hierarchy. He signed for Premiership side West Brom but failed to make an impact and was this month released by new Baggies coach Tony Pulis.

He has now signed up with Al-Hilal on a 3 year deal which will see him net £3m in his first year, another £3m in his second and then £4m in his 3rd and final year.

Sammy took a massive wage cut to join Celtic back in the day from Man City and was committed to the Celtic cause when he could have been making money elsewhere.

He now has the opportunity to play regular football and be paid a princely sum to do so.

We wish him all the best.
