FORMER Celtic Striker Anthony Stokes has taken everyone by surprise this evening by signing a short term deal with Greek side Apollon Smyrnis.
The Irishman was let go by Hibs before the window closed after falling out with Neil Lennon his former boss at Celtic.

Speaking recently, Neil Lennon was candid about stokes behaviour.
“There is a line that I won’t tolerate, and Anthony had plenty of chances not to cross that line.”
The 29-year-old had options to sign with a club down south but chose to head to Greece for perhaps a fresh start.
During his time at Celtic, Stokes won four league titles, two Scottish Cups and the League Cup.
