Former Celtic defender Kieran Tierney looks to have given Scotland a possible boost ahead of the nation’s crucial tie against England at Wembley tomorrow night.
The left-back surprisingly missed Scotland’s first game back at a major tournament in 23 years in a 2-0 loss against the Czech Republic and looks poised to make his possible return tomorrow night.
Tierney has been a key player under Steve Clarke, and it was a huge blow for the nation to see him miss out. Whilst it isn’t confirmed whether he will feature yet or not, the news of him traveling to Wembley and taking part in full training today leaves fans with some optimism.

From the early points of his Celtic career, you could see the academy graduate’s quality, and it’s no surprise to see him go on and become the player he has in the English Premier League.
Despite leaving his boyhood heroes, it is clear that, like any fan, KT still has that love for the club. So, fingers crossed, we can see him take his performances to the next level once again, but this time at the European Champions against the Auld Enemy tomorrow evening.
