Former Celt Completes Move To Popular German Side

Former Celtic midfielder Jackson Irvine has completed a move to popular German side St Pauli.

The Australian spent the second half of last season in Scotland with Hibernian but decided to move on from the Edinburgh side at the end of his six-month deal.

Today it was announced has joined a popular side within sections of the Celtic support in St Pauli, with the two clubs having similar beliefs in the way a football team should be run.

The 28-year old spent his youth days at Celtic, playing just the one game for the club under former manager Neil Lennon during his first spell.

He has spent most of his playing career in the UK with sides such as Ross County and Hull City.

He was recently seen bigging up the credentials of new Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou in a clip that went viral on social media a few months before he came to Parkhead.
