Former Celt Blasts Ibrox Hampden Behaviour

Former Celtic player Stephen Crainey has blasted the bad sportsmanship of Steven Gerrard’s men at Hampden Park on Sunday after Celtic won their fourth League cup in a row.

Celtic were outplayed for large spells of the game but still managed to get the win with a goal from Christopher Jullien in the second half.

The Rangers were sick by the end of the game, with tears on the pitch as Celtic celebrated another trophy.

Usually, a team will stay behind and applaud the winners but, like a previous failed final at Hampden, they didn’t bother.

Stephen Crainey wasn’t impressed and took to social media to explain why.

“Sportsmanship right out the window today, not giving ball back and not staying to clap!!

“Based on that alone @CelticFC deserved to win, Boooom ????.”

Celtic weren’t even near their best today and probably played their worst game in quite some time. However, champions find a way to win and that’s exactly what happened.

The bhoys now have Monday off to recover before a free hit at Cluj this week with the bhoys already topping their Europa group.
