CELTIC will need to hit the ground running come Saturday when the bhoys kick off a massive FIVE games in just 14 days.
During that time, Celtic will compete in three separate competitions and play the second best team in Germany right at this moment.
Brendan Rodgers men will play high flying Hibs on Saturday followed by a visit to Germany to play a team who are keeping pace with league leaders Dortmund and currently above Bayern Munich.
They then have three days to prepare for the semi-final at Murrayfield where the bhoys will be looking to defend their League Cup for the third successive season by getting into the final.
After their visit to Edinburgh, it’s a night out in Dundee next for the bhoys in green who will be up against Neil McCann’s side midweek.
Then they will prepare for the visit of Hearts to Celtic Park for SPFL duty.
These are massive games for Celtic. If Rodgers has any real ambition of making the knockout stages of the Europa League then a win against a very good Leipzig side is a must. Getting back to the top of the league will not be easy with both Edinburgh sides booked in at Celtic Park at the start and end of the five games and of course, the much talked about semi-final will see Celtic hopefully get to the final.
Five wins out of five would be excellent but it’s not going to be easy.
