It has been a long time coming but surely this weekend will see Tom Rogic returning to the starting XI in the SPFL for the first time this season. It’s incredible to think we’re deep into October and we still haven’t seen Tom start a domestic league match.
Coming back to pre-season injured it has taken the midfielder a while to recover then get back up to speed but he did get a full 90 minutes under his belt against Partick Thistle in the League Cup.
The Australian was kept out of the side completely during the Livingston defeat but with Ryan Christie now suspended for two games you would imagine Tom will come back in.

Neil Lennon hols the Aussie in very high regard and it’s testament to how well Ryan Christie that Tom hasn’t walked straight back into the team.
It was a big international week for the Celtic star – he was allowed to take some time off from the club and was given the green light by the Socceroos to miss their qualifiers so he could get married.
The player will return this weekend after being made an honest man. Let’s hope he celebrates by getting among the goals.
