Exciting Times For Celtic Fans As Maeda Vows to Do “Even Better” Than Kyogo

DAIZEN MAEDA has arrived at Celtic Park with pressure on his shoulders to match the outstanding start Kyogo has made.

After months of rumours and reports detailing how a transfer may look, the forward has signed an initial loan contract at Celtic, with the club agreeing on an obligation to buy clause.

His announcement brought great relief to Celtic fans, with injury concerns in the attacking third; Daizen will hope to help ease concerns.

Finishing joint top scorer in the J-League, Maeda will hope his goal-scoring form doesn’t come to an end in Scotland after promising he will do “even better” than Kyogo, who has scored 16 goals in all competitions for Celtic so far.

Speaking to Celtic TV, when asked about how impressed he has been with Kyogo’s displays, he replied;

“He has been playing really well, but I think I have to do better to be successful. I would like to try my best.”

If Maeda can get himself half the amount of goals, Kyogo has he will go be a success. Coming in halfway through a season is never easy, but Maeda will benefit from working with Ange before.
