Ex-Treble Winning Celt Says Postecoglou’s Celtic will ‘Dominate’ Scottish Football

CELTIC are on a magnificent run of form at the moment, with their win against the Ibrox side taking their unbeaten streak to 32 games.

After losing three of his first six games, fans were concerned about how this season may pan out. However, Postecoglou’s side has turned things around and now occupies the top spot.

On the form the side is in, they don’t look like dropping points any time soon. Heading into the weekend, Celtic will look to stretch their advantage to nine points, with the Rangers playing the following day.

Postecoglou will look to further strengthen his side in the summer before leading the team into the Champions League. Bringing in more players to suit his style and adding depth to the squad, the Celtic side we see next season could be even better than the one currently on display.

Speaking to the Sun, Ramon Vega has high hopes for his former side, especially if they gain automatic admission to the Champions League group stage;

“Ange has brought the pride back and I hope he can win the Treble, because it’s down to him where Celtic are right now.

“After the problems they had at the start of the season, there is now a stability at the club and it has stood them in good stead. Sunday was a key moment for Celtic’s season and I see them going on to win the league.

“There is still work to be done, but they are in such a strong position. If they win the title this season it means they get straight into the Champions League and the riches that brings.

“It’s not like England where the clubs get big money for the TV rights.

“For Celtic to get into the group stages it is massive in terms of revenue, and it could help Ange strengthen his squad.

“If they do that I can see them dominating Scottish football again for a number of years.”
