Ex-Celtic Talent Spotter Makes Shock Move

Former Celtic chief scout John Park has made a sensational return to Scottish football with Falkirk as he bids to help the club return to the Premier League according to SunSport.

There was online rumours for months Celtic were going to offer Park a new position at the club under Neil Lennon where he helped unearth Victor Wanyama, Virgil van Dijk along with the likes of Fraser Forster and Gary Hooper in his first run with the Irishman.

However, this summer the club has enlisted the services of Nicky Hammond; former Reading and West Brom chief scout. The club announced the scout would spend the summer with the club to help with recruitment before a full-time position was announced.

Celtic have been going about their transfer business this summer and had varying amounts of success. So far, Neil Lennon has brought in four new faces with more likely to be on the way before all is said and done.
