Ex-Celt Efe Ambrose Makes Return to Scottish Football

Livingston have completed the signing of Efe Ambrose it has emerged from STV reporter Raman Bhardwaj.

The defender who played for Neil Lennon both at Celtic and Hibernian has made his return to Scottish football just over a year on from voluntarily cutting ties with Hibernian to join Derby.

The Nigerian left the Easter Road side to sign for Frank Lampard’s Derby side at the time but never got one game under the Englishman before they both moved on in the summer.

It’s a top signing for Livi! Efe will bring experience to the back line and help them consolidate a potential top half finish.

He was a cult figure at Celtic Park and while some remember him as a jovial figure he did help Celtic to the famous result against Barcelona in 2012 as well as winning medals with the club.

We wish him all the best at Livingston, just not when he’s up against Celtic in a couple of weeks time.
