Celtic prepared first their Europa League game on Thursday playing out a 1-1 draw with Hibernian on Saturday but how did the rest of Group E get on?
The bhoys are up against Cluj in match day two with Neil Lennon’s men looking to build on a well earned point in France against Rennes in the opener.
Cluj have prepared well and go into Thursday’s tie with a 3-0 win under their belt. The Romanian champions beat fourth place Metan Medias on Sunday evening.
Celtic will play Lazio back to back on match day three and four – the Italian side currently occupy 6th place in Serie A and beat Genoa 4-0 on Sunday.
Last but not least is Rennes who will take on Lazio this week. The French side managed a 1-1 draw against Marseille in Ligue 1 and are in 5th place after eight games.
Celtic’s group is highly competitive and the bhoys will need to be on alert with Cluj looking for another win at Celtic Park.
