End of the Road – Celtic Flop Makes Parkhead Exit

Osaze Urhoghide has completed his move from Celtic FC to Amiens, signing a three-year deal with the French club.

Urhoghide’s departure from Celtic comes after a brief stint at the Scottish champions, where he struggled to secure regular game time.

Urhoghide joined Celtic in the summer, around the same time as manager Ange Postecoglou, but it was clear that his signing was not directly influenced by the new manager. His move mirrored that of Liam Shaw, with both players making the switch from Sheffield Wednesday to Celtic, with the club playing a development fee.

Despite his limited opportunities at Celtic, Urhoghide was loaned out to KV Oostende on two occasions, where he seemed to be making good progress. However, his time at Celtic has now officially come to an end.

Urhoghide, a centre-back who can also play at right-back, had a notable performance in the Europa League match against Real Betis. In a game that saw Postecoglou rotate his squad, Urhoghide stepped in and delivered a solid performance in a 3-2 victory for Celtic.
