A poll has been triggered for both resolution 5 and 6 on the Celtic AGM agenda.
Res 5&6 pertain to the reappointment of Brian Wilson and Ian banker to the Celtic board. The vote wasn’t carried in the room with present shareholders, meaning the resolutions would now need to go to a further poll.
Usually, these are a formality, but not in this case. Given the shareholding and Dermot Desmond’s wishes, both will retain their position in the board but it’s still an egg on face moment for both as they sat in the room where most people present wanted them gone.
Celtic fans want to see real change and while talk of change is in the air, we’re seeing very little of action or accountability.

The board are trying to hide behind Ange Postecoglou in a bid to save their own skin. It’s very transparent.
We fell from such a great height because of the board’s inability to see what was coming, not doing enough and eventually bringing us down to an unacceptable level.
Yes, Ange is helping to clean up their mess one week at a time, but there has to be consequences for this board – right now – there are none.
The dissatisfaction with the board is there for all to see but because we’re not in charge of our club or have any real influence, they can march on unimpeded.
