EGM Latest: Votes Have Been Submitted

The votes are in for the Ibrox led inquiry and now it’s just a waiting game to see if they have garnered enough support to pursue their own personal agenda.

The EGM was called by three member clubs; The Rangers, Hearts and Stranraer.

They want an independent inquiry into the SPFL proposal which stopped the lower leagues and will deliver Celtic’s ninth consecutive title if the game cannot be restarted.

They want to tie up the SPFL at a pivotal point in its history. While the proposal vote was handled poorly, the democratic process allowed the SPFL to call the lower leagues.

The Ibrox club then claimed a whistleblower with evidence of bullying and coercion, when they finally gave their dossier to Celtic and other clubs, there was no sign of any of this.

Some clubs have publicly backed the proposal but most have remained tight-lipped as the mudslinging continues between clubs.

The Rangers require 32 votes for the inquiry to go through.
