Eddie Howe is expected to become the Celtic manager very soon.
The red tape holding up the deal won’t be in place for much longer. We might have to wait until the beginning of June but the deal is coming.
We have been studying Eddie Howe, listening to various podcasts, taking to well placed people at Bouremouth and getting a feel for what Eddie is all about.
We can’t help but feel excited in general about this appointment. People are perhaps over shooting the mark by claiming it’s a Brendan Rodgers-esque appointment from the club. Even though we have been very impressed doing our Eddie Howe homework, Brendan was much more accomplished and assured as a manager coming into Celtic.
What I would say, is this is AS CLOSE to an appointment like Brendan Rodgers the club could realistically get.
There have been links with Eddie and Brendan, stories from several podcasts and an appearance on the Coaches Voice from Howe himself describing their relationship and how Rodgers helped him in his early days.
