Double Injury blow for Celtic

STUART ARMSTRONG AND SCOTT BROWN will miss at least this weekends visit by Hibernian after the two players have been ruled out injured with hamstring and calf injuries, respectively.

Brendan Rodgers confirmed that both players will be unavailable for their club and will certainly not be for for Scotland’s vital double header next month.

Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong have been the catalyst for Celtic and Scotland over the last year and having them both ruled out by injury is a major blow.

Scott has been absolutely sensational and showed his quality again against Anderlecht before pulling up with an injury late on.

Callum McGregor should now be surely in line for a call-up to Gordon Strachan’s squad.
