GANGWON FC have announced Celtic have completed the signing of Yang Hyun Jun, who becomes the Parkhead club’s third summer signing.
It has taken this deal a while to get over the line. Gangwon wanted to keep Yang until December as their in the midst of a relegation battle.
The winger was apprehensive if the deal didn’t materialise this summer, it wouldn’t happen at all. Yang then pushed for the deal and even at one point, offered to forfeit his wages to get the deal done.
The player has finally gotten his wish and the move has been completed. Gangwon announced the deal before Celtic who are probably getting their ducks in a row before an announcement.

Hyun Jun is Celtic’s third summer signing. Another player who the club have tracked for some time now before Brendan Rodgers became the manager.
The deal has been given Brendan Rodgers approval, but he isn’t a player Rodgers himself identified.
We are likely to see more Rodgers-type signings towards the end of the window.
