Done Deal – Young Celt Heads Out On-Loan in Transfer Coup

RAITH ROVERS have this afternoon confirmed the loan signing of one of Celtic’s developmental stars, Regan Hendry.

John McGlynn, who left his post at Celtic under a week ago has used his Celtic connections to pull off quite the coup  for the lower league side.

Regan is highly regarded around Lennoxtown and the opportunity to get the young lad first team football meant it was a no brainier when Raith Rovers came calling.

It has been a week of outs for Celtic with McGlynn and Hendry departing to Rovers while Shaun Maloney also announced today he was leaving the Celtic setup after a year in the role.

Shaun told Celtic fans he is looking to transfer what he’s learned at the club at youth level and put it into practice with the first team Belgium squad.

As for Regan Hendry, he will be eligible for Raith Rovers game against Dumbarton in a League one tomorrow.

We wish him the best of luck.
