Celtic midfielder Arne Engels heaped praise on his teammate Kyogo Furuhashi after the Hoops’ 4-1 win over Ross County yesterday.
It was a dominant performance from the Bhoys, who were more than worth the three points.

Kyogo opened the scoring towards the end of the first half, smartly converting from Alistair Johnston’s cross. Jordan White equalised for the hosts, although, once again, the Japanese frontman stepped up to put his side back ahead.
Post-match, Engels was more than complimentary of Kyogo, explaining how much of the hard work he does goes unnoticed: “He’s really important for us,” he said (The Celtic Way).
“He’s doing all the dirty work that some people aren’t seeing and we are, so we know how important he is for us and you see it again today.
“He’s scored those two goals and he could maybe even score more but he’s really important for us. So he’s been really good.”
Although his season has not been up to his usual high standards, Kyogo remains the joint-top scorer in the Scottish Premiership.
He’s netted 12 times for the Hoops in all competitions, with goals coming against Rangers, among many other sides, and in the UEFA Champions League.
While some fans might have been content with him potentially departing Glasgow this month amid links to Atlanta United, the attacker sent a timely reminder of his elite abilities on Saturday.
His slight position change will have given Brendan Rodgers food for thought, too, as the Celts continually attack their gruelling schedule.
It remains to be seen whether the forward will be deployed in a similar position to this weekend against Dundee at Dens Park on Tuesday evening.
