‘Do a turn’, ‘On Celtic’s Radar’: These Supporters Want Celtic January Transfer Swoop

CELTIC FANS have been singing the praises of a certain Scotland player after Thursday night’s win in Serbia.

Scotland qualified for their first major tournament in 22 years when they defeated Serbia on penalties on their own patch.

The performance in the first 90 minutes was outstanding from Scotland and their backline, it was a hammer blow when Scotland did concede a late goal to take it to extra time.

One man in the heart of it all was Motherwell’s Declan Gallagher, the defender had a stand out performance and was a big reason they kept holding on in extra time.

This has led to some Celtic fans hoping the club make a move for Declan in January to help shore up their defence.

Celtic are looking around for answers to our poor defensive form. If the club signed Declan in the summer, eyebrows would have been raised. It’s funny how some would take Declan over Duffy with hindsight but wouldn’t have accepted it at the time.

Declan, 29, started his career at Celtic but was let go nine years ago, the Scotland win will rightly be the highest point of his career.
