Celtic have been working hard behind the scenes to find a way to get supporters back into stadiums in the Europa League.
Fans were locked out of the Real Betis game in Seville earlier this season and now it looks almost certain fans will miss out on the Ferencvaros tie.
There could be movement in the rules next week, but it looks as if it will come too late for Celtic fans.
Delivering an update on the probability of fans getting into the stadium in Hungary, Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor was not optimistic.
Was in touch with Ferencvaros yesterday who advised that any changes to legislation requires government approval. It’s a holiday weekend so it will be midweek before anything is decided therefore situation for Thursday currently remains as is I’m afraid

The game against Ferencvaros is a pivotal game in the context of Celtic’s European season.
If we can get an a win away from home, we will be virtually guaranteed a place in Europe past Christmas. Third place gets a conference league spot.
Celtic fans will undoubtedly still travel over to Hungary. There were some cheeky supporters who managed to sneak into the Real Betis stadium.
