Diego Laxalt Responds to Celtic Post

DIEGO LAXALT will not be back at Celtic next season. It was a one and done loan deal that didn’t really work out in the end.

Diego came in showing promise and put in some top performances before he cooled off and early potential disappeared.

The Uruguayan’s Celtic contract was officially up at the end of June and it was only on Saturday evening the club wished Diego, Moi and Kenny well for the future.

Diego responded to the post by sticking a thank you up in his Instagram story. The defender thanking everyone at the club for making him welcome.

Celtic have been on the hunt for a full time left-back since Kieran Tierney left the building. Boli Bolingoli, Greg Taylor and Diego Laxalt have all tried to fill the void but nobody has commanded the position like KT did while at the club.

Ange Postecoglou will have to decide if he wants to bring in another left-back or go with Boli and Taylor this season.
