Ronny Deila had a less than perfect start at Celtic, the players struggled to get with his programme and the media scoffed at his fitness regime he was trying to implement.
Fast forward to now and the Celtic boss has got the team not only playing attractive attacking football but has made his Celtic players the fittest lot of players we have seen for a long time. Former Celtic boss Gordon Strachan spoke about the Norwegians transformation and how you can see the Celtic bug taking over Ronny like it did the weeman when he was in charge.
“He understands what it’s all about now,” said the current Scotland manager.
“After a month or so in Glasgow he will have no idea what had hit him. But now his team are playing well, the games against Inter were good and now he is enjoying it.”
