Let’s face it, if there is a cheeky Bhoy out in the land of punditry that is famous for winding up the wrong half of Glasgow, it’s usually Chris Sutton.
Big bad John Hartson is usually a little bit more subtle with his media skelping. But, the Welsh man has upset the Govan mob today by insinuating the signing of Jermaine Defoe means “Alfredo the Ball Grabber Morelos” is finally off on that 30 million pound transfer to China.
Defoe to Rangers.. that mean Morelos is away..

There is, of course, a chance that the ex-celt might be onto something, but we feel he might be at it tonight. God knows he stirred up enough of a reaction from fans of the Ibrox side that will put a smile on his face.
This guy obviously has a short memory…

You wish John. You wish. 🤫

Why does it necessarily mean the end of Morelos? He’s not long signed a new contract. Also, we can have more than two strikers ffs ya rocket

All joking aside, the Celtic board will have to do something special in this window to please its fanbase. Whether Defoe turns out to be a good signing or not it does show a clear sign of intent from Govan. With the league positions so close Celtic will need to strengthen with players who can come straight into the team and play.
Chris Sutton, you have some Twitter competition.
