Many reports last week claimed Jason Denayer had made an outright claim he would not be returning to Celtic this summer.
However, according to Sky Italia, the defender is still weighing up his options and the fact Celtic are still in the hunt to bring the player back to Celtic Park is making it difficult for Torino to make a deal for the Belgian.
Torino are hopeful of landing the defender who has won two league titles in two different countries so far in his career.
Manchester City have been holding out for a permanent deal to come their way for Jason but will send him out on-loan if the window starts to wind down and there are no bidders.
The former Deila signing is aware of Celtic and Torino’s interests and has not publicly ruled out either while privately reports say he’d prefer a move to Galatasaray.
