ON WEDNESDAY, rumours linking Celtic to Oliver Abildgaard were rife on social media.
However, when asked about the name after his side had beaten Ross County in the Premier Sports Cup, Postecoglou didn’t deny Oliver was one of the names being discussed.
As quoted by The Sun, when asked about the player, Ange Postecoglou replied;
“It’s definitely a name. There’s been a lot of names.
“There’s 24 hours to go and there’s still things, some outgoings we are still working on. We will see how things fall over the next 24 hours and see what comes of it.”
“It’s a lot less hectic that last year.
“It was almost ten minutes to midnight when we signed Cameron Carter-Vickers.
“That was a more stressful time.
“This windows has been good for us. We knew what we wanted to do in terms of business and we moved at the right time. We got in guys nice and early.”

The 26-year-old is said to be a deep-lying midfielder who’s comfortable with the ball at his feet. He’d fill a gap in the Celtic side, who are looking for a player of the sort. He’s a ball winner and would definitely add something to the starting eleven.
Celtic showed their strength in depth on Wednesday night, Ange making nine changes to his side that tore apart Dundee Utd and they didn’t skip a beat. The bhoys ran out 4-1 winners in Dingwall with newest recruit Sead Haksabanovic making his debut from the bench.
It’s been a great window for Celtic, a defensive midfielder would top things off.
