FABRIZIO ROMANO has posted out that the Jota deal is done after an image emerged of the Portuguese winger in Dubai.
Romano quote tweeted his last update on Jota with a tick emoji and the yellow and black colours of Al Ittihad.
The 24-year-old is about to sign a contract that will transform his life forever. Some reports suggest £10m per year is on the table tax free which works out at £192k per week. Not bad money if you can get it.
Celtic weren’t chasing a deal to cash in on Jota this summer but when the figures started being bandied about, it was clear there was a big likelihood the player would depart.
We await the official announcement from Celtic. There are so many Al Ittihad twitter accounts that are now on twitter blue that you can’t really trust what’s being posted.
Celtic will likely announce something to the stock exchange when the deal goes through if the figures are record breaking.
