Deal Agreed; Announcement imminent

CELTIC and Matt O’Riley have agreed terms and the player is now set to become Ange’s fifth signing of the Winter window. Scott Burns has revealed that an announcement is all that is left to happen.

The midfielder is arriving in Scotland after Celtic triggered the £1.5 million release clause in the contract he had with MK Dons.

After completing a medical in the past few days, the London born player arrived at Parkhead on Thursday ahead of putting pen to paper on a contract in Glasgow.

In what has been described as a steal, O’Riley will fight for a place in Celtic’s highly talented midfield. He will have a brilliant opportunity handed to him when Tom Rogic will likely be away on International duty.

This will be a massive chance for the player to step up and show his worth.

Celtic have won the battle for the 21-year-old, confirmation is imminent.
