Celtic did most of their transfer business on New Year’s eve before the window had officially opened. As it stands, the club has made some great signings and as we sit here on deadline day, there’s no real angst from the support when it comes to last minute signings.
At this point in proceedings, the fans have historically become frustrated at this point in the window, hoping Celtic will pull a rabbit out of the hat.
It’s a nice place to be in this time around.
So what is the state of play on deadline day for the Hoops?
It’s all about moving players out.
Loan deals could and should be a theme of today for the Bhoys. There are several young players Ange wants to see go out and get some much-needed game time. However, there are players the club would just really like off the wage budget for the rest of the season.

Boli Bolongoli, Vasilis Barkas and Albian Ajeti being three men Celtic would like to move on.
CeltsAreHere has been told from a source close to the club the chequebook hasn’t been put away just yet and if a deal comes up, the club is open to doing a bit more business.
It should be interesting, but our season won’t hinge on it at least.
