CELTIC are hot on the heels of another loan signing this deadline day with reports coming out this morning they are now looking at Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga.
The Spurs defender has played seven times for the club this season and has been looking to get first team experience.
If it’s true there are Premier League clubs also interested, it would mean Celtic’s chances of landing the 21-year-old would be slim.
Celtic are keen on Spurs defender Japhet Tanganga – one of a number of centre-backs the club are looking at on #DeadlineDay.
He will find out later if he’ll be allowed out on loan. Two Premier League clubs are also interested.

Expect this throughout the day, Celtic are not in the market for permanent signings. There’s a short-termism element to this deadline day, with higher-ups at the club knowing change will be happening this summer.
The squad needs reinforcements but the club doesn’t want to spend money or be lumped with a player a new man doesn’t want come the summer. It’s blatantly evident Neil Lennon will not be the man come the summer.
Celtic are looking to finalise a deal for Jonjoe Kenny in the next few hours.
The window closes at midnight.
