Well Deadline Day is here and while Sky Sports bills it as an exciting extravaganza there is no getting away from the fact that Celtic’s deadline day dealings have always ended in a whimper.

Every window fans are waiting for that last minute purchase, a marquee name we can get excited about but it rarely materialises. Craig Bellamy and Robbie Keane on-loan on two separate occasions got fans off their seats.
