Dark Cloud Hangs Over Sunday’s Glasgow Derby

Nicola Sturgeon has yet to confirm if the Glasgow Derby will go ahead this Sunday as planned with a final decision yet to be made.

The game is in peril after Gers fans turned out in their thousands to break a stay at home order while Police Scotland facilitated them.

It sparked the question of safety ahead of the third behind closed door derby of the season.

Celtic and the Ibrox club have both put messages out for fans to do the right thing and stay at home but there’s still no final decision from the government who will wait until they hear from Police Scotland over the intelligence they have.

Celtic are looking to finish the season strong but they have found it very difficult to get into a rhythm. It’s a side that has no real identity after it’s heart and soul was ripped out throughout this season.

Many of the players who are still here at the moment will likely move on this summer, can they produce something for the support to chant about if the game does go ahead?
