Daniel Kelly yesterday completed his move to English Championship side Millwall after a lengthy spell in Celtic’s academy.
The teenager was given a few first-team opportunities at the back end of last season and did score in a 7-1 thrashing of Dundee.

Kelly, though, failed to sign a new long-term deal at Parkhead and was thus banished from the senior side by Brendan Rodgers going into the new season.
With his deal in Glasgow not set to expire until the new year, he faced a tricky predicament but luckily for him, Millwall swept in and signed him up permanently this summer.
The midfielder penned a long-term deal at The Den, and upon the move being confirmed yesterday, he sent a parting message to his boyhood club.
“I wish Celtic nothing but success in the future”, he said (The Scottish Sun).
“There’s a lot of great people there, I made some great friends, there are top coaches there as well so I wish them all the best.”
Monitoring Kelly’s progress down south this season should be intriguing.
The Scotland youth international has clearly moved to Millwall in search of first-team opportunities, so it will be enticing to see what he can do with them.
