According to the Daily Record, the champions have proposed contract extensions to Rocco Vata and Daniel Kelly, looking to keep them at the club for an additional four years.

Discussions with the two players have reportedly been ongoing for a while.

Vata, a 19-year-old winger and Republic of Ireland U21 international, is approaching the end of his current contract this summer, potentially leaving him free next month without a new deal. There has been considerable interest from several Italian clubs in securing his services.

On the other hand, 18-year-old Daniel Kelly, who holds a Scotland U19 cap, would be eligible to negotiate with other clubs by July, as his contract is due to expire at the year’s end.

Both young talents have been involved with the first team this season under Brendan Rodgers. Vata made a notable contribution by scoring in a Cup tie against Buckie Thistle in January, while Kelly netted his debut goal for Celtic during a 7-1 rout of Dundee at Parkhead in February.
