Kewell, who moved from Celtic to Yokohama F. Marinos earlier this year, has encountered a tough season, with his team underperforming in the J-League, sitting 12th, and experiencing setbacks such as losing the AFC Champions League final and being taken to penalties by Gifu, who are in the J3 League, in the cup.

Despite these difficulties, Yokohama F. Marinos managed to clinch a crucial win in the dying moments of their match on Wednesday, marking their first victory since May 29th. This long-awaited win seemed to bring relief and some joy to Kewell and his squad.

Responding to this turn of events, Maeda took to Twitter to share his sentiments, reflecting his anticipation to reunite with his former coach. His tweet read: “Harry and everyone else look happy. I’m looking forward to meeting you.”

We’ve seen Kyogo make an appearance at his former club, Vissel Kobe, and Maeda looks set to follow suit.
