Daizen Maeda Posts Hilarious Iwata Snap After His First Celtic Goal

Tomoki Iwata scored his first Celtic goal on Sunday away at Hearts. His thunderous finish that went in off the bar late on sealed the deal for the Hoops.

After the match, many of the 26-year-old’s teammates congratulated him, although Daizen Maeda proceeded to post an embarrassing picture of Iwata on his Instagram story:

Iwata Maeda

As seen, the Japanese internationalist is wearing a traditional Scottish tartan hat. He won’t be thanking his fellow countrymen for sharing the picture, but it will have provided many with a chuckle.

Iwata will have been delighted to score for the Hoops for the first time at the weekend and it will be hoped he can kick on from here. He is a player of utmost quality and someone who has been nothing but reliable throughout his time in Glasgow so far.

Brendan Rodgers undoubtedly rates him, and supporters will hope more photos such as the one Maeda posted surface in the future as Iwata bags more and more goals for the Bhoys.
