Celtic winger Daizen Maeda has poked fun at his recent hairstyle change in his latest post on X.
The winger scored the quickest Scottish Premiership goal of the season so far in yesterday’s Glasgow derby. Joe Hart played a dangerous ball into the left channel and when James Tavernier looked to clear it, the electric wide-man was right on his back.

Maeda simply stuck out his leg and diverted the ball goal-wards to give his side the lead 21 seconds in.
In yesterday’s game, the Japanese attacker was hugely effective. Maeda is a crucial player for Celtic in Glasgow derbies and plays a pivotal role in stemming the threat of the Gers’ right-back.
He did so admirably yesterday and after the game, the 26-year-old took to X. Poking fun at his hair – which has now fully grown in and is blonde – he posted a picture of his bald self, questioning, albeit in Japanese, who it is:

Since Maeda has begun to grow in his hair, he has scored four goals in as many games. He was key yesterday and between now and the end of the campaign, fans will be hoping he doesn’t change up his looks so that his performances remain at a high level.
