Celtic winger Daizen Maeda always proves to be key in Glasgow derbies. Last month at Ibrox, he opened the scoring within half a minute and today, he once more gave James Tavernier nightmares.
The Rangers right-back was completely nullified this afternoon, having a limited impact on proceedings.
Maeda brilliantly nutmegged Tavernier when flashing across goal for what eventually turned out to be the winning goal of the game.

Immediately after the ball hit the back of the net, the mercurial Japanese wide man made a beeline for the Celtic fans in the Lisbon Lions stand, racing to the advertising boards to celebrate with them.
The 26-year-old was engulfed by a wave of green and white but as he was getting back into position just before the restart, he was shown a yellow card by referee Willie Collum.
Unbeknownst to Maeda, you get booked for celebrating with the supporters. Indeed, after the game, he hilariously quipped on X that he had no clue about such a rule:
I didn't know that if you go up to the fans you get a yellow card! Oh well!✌️ https://t.co/3TovEYfk3q

A real fan favourite, Maeda once more turned up in a big game for his team. Time and time again, the treble-winner provides the goods in Glasgow derbies and that was once more the case today.
