Scottish football is at a standstill with the rest of Europe today. Clubs and supporters are looking for answers and a way forward to find a solution to the current shut down.
UEFA will today chair a meeting as they look to add some semblance of certainty to things in these difficult times.
We need direction and information.
Ian Maxwell and Neil Doncaster will both be briefing Scottish football shortly after the meeting.
Here’s everything you need to know about today:
Where?
Usually, all the clubs and their representatives would head to Nyon in Switzerland but this will be a video conference given the restrictions on movement.
Time?
UEFA hasn’t made the time of the meeting public but it’s expected to start late morning and finish in the afternoon according to Football.London.
Who will be attending?
UEFA has made it clear all 55 associations should be in on this meeting, including Scottish reps.
What will be discussed?
Domestic leagues and how they can be resolved. Euro 2020 delay and what happens to the Champions and Europa League.
Everyone has their own ideas on what’s best to move forward but any ideas which don’t have football being played in the short term is going to leave some at a disadvantage.
