BRENDAN Rodgers has named his last starting eleven of the Japan tour, as Celtic end their week in their country against Gamba Osaka.
They will fly home midweek before heading to Dublin next weekend, where they’ll face Wolves, in a rearranged friendly. Of course, the match was supposed to take place in Korea, but both sides had to pull out of the agreement.
Celtic are looking to get a win in front of their Japanese fans, after losing in a goal fest on Wednesday. Brendan Rodgers’ side played against an AngeBall playing team led by Kevin Muscat, but errors in defence saw Yokohama F. Marinos run out 6-4 winners.
So, as Celtic go up against 13th-placed Gamba Osaka, this is the team that Brendan Rodgers has opted to go with.

As is usual in pre-season friendlies, we’ll likely see a completely different side finish the match. It’s just about getting minutes into the legs before the season kicks off in two weeks’ time.
