It looks like the deal will be done within the next 24 hours after it has been confirmed this morning Boli Bolingoli left Vienna’s training camp on Tuesday to go conclude a deal with Celtic.

The left back has been linked with the club for a number of weeks and Neil Lennon confirmed on Tuesday a deal was close.

Boli is likely to now undergo a medical ahead of the move which could see him make it in time to be registered for the Champions League qualifier against Sarajevo next week.

Boli is a pacy left back who is being billed as competition for Kieran Tierney. However, the more sceptical among us believe this move could facilitate Kieran’s departure this season.

There is still just under two months left of this current transfer window and there will certainly be more twists and turns before it’s all said and done.

Kieran is still not full recovered from his operation and will play no part in the Champions League qualifier.
