Celtic are heading to Australia for Ange’s homecoming in November. The original idea was to have a Glasgow derby down under.
However, neither set of fans from Glasgow fancied the match outside of Scotland. It was funny Rangers pulled out because they felt Celtic were getting top billing. The Celtic boss is the most successful Australian football manager in the countries history, of course that was going to be the case.

Sources close to the club also told CeltsAreHere.com the Hoops were being paid more for the trip. It caused a stir and the Ibrox club pulled out without going through the proper channels.
It left the Sydney Cup organisers with a void to fill. The organisers approached quite a few clubs, CeltsAreHere were made aware Inter Milan were one of those teams.
In the end, Everton have been the club to fill the void left by the SPFL Runner’s Up.
Announcing to their fans this evening, the Toffees will head to Australia to play Celtic.
