We reported earlier on today that Emilio Izaguirre was due to return to first-team action tonight against Valencia. Brendan Rodgers choosing to go with the natural defender despite an excellent performance from Johnny Hayes at the weekend.
2019 could not have gone any better for Brendan Rodgers on the domestic front. Tonight will be about transferring that domestic form onto a European level. Celtic have won six of their last eight home games in Europe.
Unfortunately, the Bhoys away form shrinks in comparison. That is why they will need a big performance tonight and an advantage heading over to Valencia this time next week.
The team news you've all been waiting for! 👊

We did call it in our report earlier on today that Brendan Rodgers would only make one change to his winning side from the weekend. Celtic were on fire the weekend and there is no need to change that winning mentality or formation.
The Celts also have a very strong bench with Timo Weah and Edouard chomping to get a slice of the action.
