Confirmed Celtic Team to Play Ross County; Iwata Starts

CELTIC MANAGER Ange Postecoglou has named his team to play in Dingwall on Sunday.

Heading into the match, there were numerous injury concerns for Celtic, particularly in the midfield area. Fans were unsure what the team would look like, but Ange has answered their questions.

Iwata gets his first start since joining Celtic, impressing from the bench on several occasions. With McGregor also starting, the assumption is that he’ll play further forward, next to O’Riley, with the Japanese midfielder playing behind them.

It’s good to see two B-team players on the bench, too, with Vata returning from injury.

As Ange alluded to on Friday, Mooy and Hatate haven’t made today’s squad, but the belief is that they’ll be good to go next week for the derby.

Celtic have already played in Dingwall twice this season. The two matches saw both teams scoring, but a comfortable away win resulted each time.

Ange Postecoglou will be looking for the three points again, ensuring that they maintain their gap at the top of the table. The Rangers won 2-0 at home against Dundee United on Saturday, seeing the gap at the top shrink to six points until at least 2 pm on Sunday afternoon.
