Celtic had been heavily linked with a move for Romain Perraud this summer with Frenchman being one of a number of players Celtic were looking at for the left back position.
The bhoys brought in Bolingoli a few weeks back, however, if they do sell Keiran Tierney this summer then another left back would be needed.
Perraud fit the bill as a young, hungry left back who was looking for a move away. In the end, Romain stayed in France and signed a four-year deal with the Brest.

Celtic have added three to their squad this summer and are still looking for a number of positions. Right back is obviously the critical area but Neil Lennon also wants a centre back and, midfielder and perhaps even a striker before all is said and done.
There’s no telling what the Celtic squad could look like come the end of this window.
