Celtic have this morning announced the signing of South Korean winger Yang Hyun-jun. The 21-year-old has penned a five year deal in Glasgow, joining from Gangwon FC in his homeland.
Yang is a young, versatile attacker who predominantly plays on the right wing. He possesses a fair amount of pace, flair and skill and if he is anything like previous Asian players the Hoops have signed, he will go down a treat in green and white.
He will add yet more strength and depth to Brendan Rodgers’ squad. There are a number of wingers available to the 50-year-old but Yang will be more than willing to compete for a place. He won young K. League player of the year in 2022 and will be eager to show such form which won him said award at Celtic.
